Email Notification Explanation

Enabling "Email Notification" allows your board visitors to request Email Notification whenever messages are added to your board. This option is free, no additional fees are incurred by enabling this option.

This option allows users to add themselves to your board's Email Notification List. Your board then sends users an email each day, if new messages(s) have been posted or if they requested, only when new messages are posted to the section of your board they're interested in.

This type of notification doesn't include the text of
messages but rather notification that
new messages have been posted. Enabling the
"Email Notification Plus" feature causes actual
message text to be presented to the user.
The "Email Notification Plus" feature can be enabled
via your board management page.

We "Strongly Recommend" you do not add users
email addresses to your board's email list, but rather
allow individuals to add themselves to the board's
Email Notification List. This helps prevent any
appearance/accusation from users of receiving
unsolicited messages.

Your "Email Notification List" is used only to notify
users when new messages are posted to your board.
When a user requests email notification, they are giving
you permission to use their email address only for that purpose.

THE EMAIL NOTIFICATION LIST SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE.
