Did you know that within 10 days of moving to a new address you are supposed to change your address on your drivers license with the State of Florida? After living here nearly 30 years, I did not. And I was "gently" reminded today by a state trooper to the tune of $111!! Wonder what I should have done when I was living in Spain for 12 years and had both Spanish and Florida drivers licenses? Anyway, you should get it changed and it is easy to do. You can go to the following site for more information: http://www.flhsmv.gov/forms/address_change.html It costs $25 and you can make the change by mail. The form you need can be downloaded at the same site as you see above: http://www.flhsmv.gov/forms/address_change.html Just look at the bottom of the page that pops up and you will see the Change PDF link you can click on. Print up the form, fill it out, send it to the state with $25, and you are done. So, if I (or another agent) sells you a new home that you move into, make sure that you get that drivers license address changed within 10 days.
