      WHO WE ARE
      The Traveling Opticians are family owned and operated. Donna Lacey earned the status of Certified Optician by the American Board of Opticianry in 1992 and has worked as an Optician for over 18 years. Kyle is currently studying to take the exam for his Certification as an Optician. Donna was born and raised in Pasadena. She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1989 and attended San Jacinto Community College.  Kyle and Donna live in Pasadena. They are the proud parents of 7 children and one grandchild.
      WHAT WE DO
      The Traveling Opticians bring the optical shop to you.  We will  come to your home or office with all the equipment to repair your existing glasses, replace nosepads, and adjust glasses for a more comfortable fit. With nearly 50 frame styles to choose from, we can also personally fit you with a complete new pair of glasses. All you need is an eyeglass prescription from your Optometrist/Ophthalmologist. We also participate in Health Fairs offering Free adjustments, cleanings and nosepads.

        Great job for High School/College Student with DL.  Need someone to walk, ride bike or drive 9 year daughter home from Robinson Elementry @3:15pm (she is a walker and comes out by community pool) and stay with her until 4:30pm MWF.  On T, TH need to stay until 5:00 and drop off at Lobo Gymnastics by Clear Lake High School.  Pay is $100 a week and a fun job where you can bring your homework and work on it as well.  Please call 281-451-5500 if interested.

      RECYCLE YOUR WASTE COOKING OIL

      Galveston Bay Biodiesel Club is in need of about 100 gallons per month of waste vegetable oil ( WVO ) to convert into biodiesel to be used as fuel in club members vehicles. If you have waste cooking oil (no bacon grease or animal fat at this time) in volumes greater than 5 gallons in the Pasadena / LaPorte /Kemah /Clear Lake /League City we will pick it up for free and put to good use. This helps the environment.

      We can give you a 5 gallon pail for collecting your home cooking oil or set up drums or totes for restaurants.  Biodiesel is a direct replacement for petro diesel and causes less pollution

      We also teach students about alternative energy fuels and assist students with science projects on biodiesel. Contact us if you need us to set up at your school science night.
