Rain + late afternoon photo sessions have produced a lot of drama for me lately. Go for the session, don't go for the session. Call the client......Cancel. No wait. Don't cancel. Raining? Yes. Wait! No it's not raining now. It's going to rain. Change that. It stopped raining. It's all so confusing. Heading out to Cocoa Village from where I live in south Melbourne Beach thankfully allowed just enough time for the storm to pass and we all lived happily ever after.............after we got some super photos for Rachel & Chibon. While this was their engagement session, we decided to turn it into a family session as they have two of the cutest kids ever. You'll see!
Crossing the Pineda Causeway, I couldn't resist a window shot of the storm cloud. I was super careful, ok?! See how beautiful it turned out to be.....blue skies, who could ask for more?
Isn't that red hair magnificant?! It just makes me want to dye mine that exact same color. Why do kids have all the perks?! Also, if you're local, you already know how fantastic
Cocoa Village is......so much art and well, my favorite, so much food. Great restaurants.
Miss Izzie is the best big sister ever. She's really great with her little brother. I was a big sister once to little brothers. Good luck, Izzie. Oh, and you are super duper pretty.
Wowzer, Rachel! You're beautiful!
Don't we all want to fly and feel loved just like this? Little girls. They melt your heart.
I have a special thing for Mommies & Daughters! Hands down, being a Mommy is life's reward. Not sure my own Mom would say that though!! From experience, I clearly recognize the expression on the right. Today, it was just a fluke, a chance capture with the camera. Teenage years? It will be a standard expression.
Rachel & Chibon, can't wait to photograph your wedding on 11/11/11. You guys are fantastic....and FUN!
And for Miss Izzy, yes the photos were fun, BUT this was what it was all about! I can tell you personally, that ice cream store is where you want to go when you head out to Cocoa Village.
On a personal note, I have recently added a fan page to my Facebook page. Please go
here to
like me. That includes any family members. Yes, I know it's hard to do!
