I miss living downtown. I even like saying I lived "downtown". Just sounds fun, humor me. As my house was being built beachside a number of years ago (no don't ask how many), we lived upstairs in my office on Grant Place. My psychology practice was downstairs. (Having said all that, sure hope that was legal based on zoning rules. Oh, well, I'm just too radical, plus it was in the past, so who cares!)  Now the place is rented out to a really smart group of people, called Future Problem Solving Program International. With a name like that, they back it up with more critical thinking than I could ever imagine. Critical thinking to me is imaginary! 

 

Historic downtown Melbourne is really fun to explore, so that's what I did with two really cool sisters recently. Their Mom, Karen, works in sales at the Radisson Oceanfront , which by the way if you're looking for a great place to book your next corporate event, she'll hook you up and if you tell her I sent you, I'm sure the discount will be deep (Just kidding there for clarification!) Anyway, Karen is really good at what she does and more than that, I really like her as a person. Calm, caring and a terrific and youthful Mom. I can tell that by how her girls relate to her.

 

 

Recently I read in Florida Today that downtown was having a rash of grafetti being drawn on the walls. While I don't condone it, I did seek it out for some photos. Is that bad? The police thinks it's teenagers since school was recently out. (Not sure if that qualifies as critical thinking or guessing.) They pointed out the person doesn't appear to be very artistic, but isn't that just a personal opinion? This person's work could end up on t shirts all over the world like Nam Galai. He was in the news recently. Remember, he screams a lot.

 

 

 

I love this picture. I grew up with sisters. I was the younger one. I can relate.

 

 

 

Can't you see how the younger one takes her cue from big sister? I asked them to show me some attitude! Love how the younger one is trying to figure it out. Big sister had NO problem!

 

 

Aren't these girls just beautiful? And their personalities are even more beautiful.

 

 

And yes, Mom is beautiful, too!
