I love this family. They are beautiful & totally cool. They also know the importance of capturing photos, not just snapshots, that serve as a visual memory bank when they look back on their family life. And it changes so fast............

I am inspired by this Mom & Dad & how they love & parent their children. Their home is like a cozy little nest.....one that is gorgeous! For a trip down memory lane: take a peek back at now big brother Ayden's newborn photos when he was only 10 days old...you can find them here. 

Now here we are with a new little brother and judging by how Ayden watches over Ryder, they will be best friends for life. I spent time with them documenting their family milestone recently & my goal was not just to capture cute little photos that one might say "aweeee" and then quickly move on but to create a series of photos that leave a lasting connection for their kids many years from now when they look back on their family album. I hope they will view them as a compliment to their wonderful parents and happy childhood. Ryder was 16 days old at this photo session so he was not a bendable, curl him up little guy, although Mom said he never was and he came into this world all stretched out and ready to go........he was not so sleepy during our session and you'll see we even go some shots with his eyes open...that was a treat. Enjoy!

Babies do great outdoors, so if you're considering newborn photos, always consider a few outside. I find it is very soothing to them. Just make sure your photographer takes all the precautions for avoiding bugs, sun, etc.

Ayden is full of character. Love this little guy. He's going to teach Ryder everything he needs to know!

Every child needs the naked hiney legacy photo........perhaps for his wedding reception slideshow in the distant future!

This Dad sets the bar high for all you Dads out there........a total hands on, jump in there and do anything kind of Dad. He loves his boys.
