I am always full of anticipation waiting to meet my brides when they book their wedding with me from afar. In Aimie's case far is
Poway, CA. At first my thoughts were all like, "why come to Florida for a wedding??".......I'd be
haaappy to come out to Cal i-forn-i-a to photograph your wedding. (
I do love me a destination wedding!) Alas, since Tim's family is in the area, planning their wedding was a lot easier than just calling vendors cold, and in particular, a big shoutout to Tim's sister Jenna, who did an excellent job as Aimie's wedding planner & vendor locator! (Every bride needs a go to person just like Jenna.)
So by the time I met up with Aimie for the wedding, I really felt like I already knew (andloved) her. Social media definitely facilitates. I followed Aimie along on Facebook months before her wedding day, rallying for her on the sidelines thru the trials & tribulations of wedding planning! Aimie is in the field of veterinary medicine and I could see what an animal lover and advocate for all little creatures. Did I not see her kissing a little frog while out kayaking? And saying seeing an alligator for the first time was the coolest thing ever! Being a nature lover myself, I really admire Aimie! And Tim? Same as Aimie........I could tell he is a big outdoor and nature guy as well. Their marriage is going to be full of big adventures!
Aimie & Tim, enjoy your photos. I hope I captured the passion & love you have for each other at this moment and when you look at your photos years from now, that passion will be as vivid then as it is now! Love you both & feel very thankful that our paths crossed.
