Today's post is about beauty, much like the beauty of photographing brides and babies, but it's the beauty given to us by nature and we don't even have to do the work! I love the simple harmony of nature and finding vibrant colors that make me feel oh so happy! We live just steps away from the Indian River Lagoon and each day my dogs take me on a walk to see what's new for the day. I always try to find something small that perhaps no one else would notice or just pass it by. Today I spotted this weed-flower with jagged edges but still so special.
Happy Tuesday!

Coral: Melbourne Beach Friend

Coral & her Mom live here in Melbourne Beach a short distance from me. I have known her Mom for many years as she & I worked together when I practiced as a psychologist here in Brevard County (Florida). As often happens, we lost touch, went our separate ways, & continued on to different careers but recently discovered we now live within several blocks of each other! Yay! They're both really special & I look forward to many more photography sessions with Coral. I love her wispy, relaxed, carefree look. Isn't she super cute?!

Danielle + Justin

Danielle & Justin were married at the Radisson Suites Oceanfront in Melbourne under blue skies & gentle breezes. Perfect! Danielle made my job both fun and easy with all of her beautiful smiles. Justin was equally the handsome groom despite his mishap several days before the wedding, leaving him with a black eye. Honest! True Story! No one would have ever known, except......errrr....I guess now everyone does. You'd never suspect it though by looking at the photos. All turned our great. Thanks for letting me hang out at your wedding. It was a fun day & I wish you both a wonderful life together!

Jack + Drew Photo Preview

Mom & Dad have been anxious to see the photos of their two little ones. Getting together to take beach photos of their children before heading back to California was a fun little excursion (meaning across the street since their family lives beachside here in Melbourne Beach). Jack & Drew are the niece & nephew of Shannon, our bride of a week or so ago. (Her photos were on a previous blog post.)
Mom & Dad, expect an awesome photo gallery soon. Hang in there with me! Enjoy this photo while you wait. Your kids definitely have that sun-kissed California beauty!
These photos were taken at Loggerhead Preserve in Melbourne Beach. This is a small, beautiful boardwalk and conservation area, complete with an educational kiosk.

This post is for Sara, the Mommy of these 3 beautiful little ones. I know you can't wait to see your little angels' photos. Getting a set of twin infants and a very busy little girl to look at the camera at the same time was quiet a juggling act, eh? It sure was fun trying and I'm wondering how silly they thought we all were?! More to come soon, promise, but hope you enjoy this one while you're waiting.

Shannon + Greg Wedding
Click here to view ONLY this message
On Friday, Shannon & Greg had the most intimate & beautiful wedding at the Community Chapel of Melbourne Beach. Their wedding was especially awesome because I suggested to Shannon they do a private first look at the beach for photos and to allow a few private moments for the couple before walking down the isle. Shannon had wanted to work in some beach photos and then sunset pictures at the historic Melbourne Beach Pier, so she took me up on my suggestion & our plan came together perfectly. Her wedding photos are awesome because the pictures show how relaxed & calm they became during their private moments together. As a result, the rest of the wedding day followed that pattern.
The sky was an amazing blue. We had plenty of time to capture so many different shots.
Shannon made the most of her wedding photography & played for the camera for some fun shots! Thanks for being a photographer's "dream bride", Shannon!
