The kids in this family are adorable. It was a a bit of a challenge to get the little ones looking in our direction, but I always tell my clients we are not trying to capture a Sears or J C Penny style portrait.......not that there's anything wrong with that, but my style is more personal and capturing personality is more important than a child that sits still and looks totally miserable.  Mrs. Filiberto even brought out what I initially thought was a toy prop and I'm all "yes, hold that over my left shoulder" so the kids will look at me. Whoa.....realized later it was the real deal. Yikes......but the kids were in heaven.

Side note, Mrs. Filiberto is my new idol. A couple of her paintings are shown at the end of this post. The word amazing is so over used by photographers, but I have to say her skills are that and more. She has only recently discovered her art talent and I can tell she will be in demand in no time.
