This family session was a real treat for me. I love watching families grow and change thru the years........and lately, seems each and everyone of them is expanding...........all at once! I photographed Little Miss here when she was born and she was beautiful then and more so now with those eyes full of light and sunshine in her hair. Our mission was to photograph little birthday boy for birthday #1! Of course we had to include the whole family.......because, after all, when he grows up, we definitely want him to see what an awesome family he was born into as well as how full of personality he was at this age. Such a fun loving little guy! Of course, he'll already know about the awesome family part.......but pictures have a way of filling in those little spaces of times that, as a kid, he might not exactly remember....
Starting of with big sis.......she is super sweet + energetic!
We started of with some serious looks! (And his serious look is so cute!)
But that went away pretty quick.......

I just love everything about this last shot....not sure why, but it makes me smile. I'll close this this comment. You know, sometimes people ask me, "Why would I pay for a professional photographer, we'll all have cameras now?" And really, I am addicted to my iphone as well......so many cool apps, etc. So much of the time, that's all any of us need to capture everyday random but important (to us) moments. Sometimes, though, going beyond the snapshot to capture your kids and family, especially those milestones, will be priceless to you + your kids in the future. But, you already know that since you've stayed with me up to here..........Smiles!
