Last Weeks Sermon - Click here to view ONLY this message
"Wake up church! It's time for some hope-living ... and we have a story to tell ... of Jesus and his love!" Those words were woven time and again throughout the sermon shared on Wednesday, July 17 by Rev Sam Morrison to Deering Baptist Congregation. Responding to the NEJ theme, "On the Edge: Holy Living in a Secular World," he warned that the church needs to wake up in many ways to respond to that world -- a changing world. Too often, he said, we "in the church meet, debating who's in and out of the circle" while "resisting change" instead of sharing the love the world so needs.
