didn’t understand what a great resource they are and everyone is sweet that I’ve talk to. Then call people from the list... we just got the feeling when we choose the right company. We explained our situation and he couldn’t keep us but genuinely wanted to help and he ended up taking us as a temporary basis. He didn’t want to see my brother be moved where his coordinator chose and neither of us knew he had choices on where he lives. We accepted the food he was fed,the doctors that saw him, the day program he was given and the homes he was placed.. it’s all his choice and obviously you help him choose. We have been happy with our choice and his coordinator is a supportive support coordinator. I’ve learned to be patient and listen to what is said with and without words. You have a lot more choices than you realize and with the right support you will learn your choices. Date=10-15-17 |
