disabled. I have 10 years experience working as a nurse and group home manager. I taught dance for 42 years. Started as a teenager. I really want to teach dance and music to the clients. Do I have to become a solo provider first. Any help would be appreciated as I get nothing from APD. Date=01-16-18 News & Questions Performing Arts 01-16-18 performing arts 02-04-18
an ADT? That would be through APD - if you are expecting to be compensated through med waiver, you need to become a provider through them. I don't know what the criteria is for what is taught in ADT, but you could possibly have dance and music as primary. Maybe you just haven't spoken to the right people. Keep trying! As we know, dance and music is the language we all speak and we all could use more positive language! Good luck! Date=02-04-18 News & Questions Performing Arts 01-16-18 Performing Arts 02-05-18

be interested. I would suggest going on the APD Florida website and look at the I Budget Handbook under Life Skills ADT. That should tell you how to word things the right way. What a refreshing idea for our folks! Keep us posted. Date=02-07-18 |
