Seth & Fiona are so perfect together & I was happy to be a part of their wedding day. Since we were unable to do an engagement photo session, we decided to meet up the day after the wedding for some "post engagement" photos, so their blog post will be a Part 1 and Part 2 (coming later). We're starting with the day after photos, which I always love because they are always casual and relaxed. The wedding day can feel a little hectic and rushed. These photos, we just had fun. 

The nature area that we chose was nearby for the three of us and that made it even better. I won't be posting the "outtakes" where Seth sat in an ant bed or where he was forever spraying himself with bug spray. He was definitely the main attraction there! Not sure why, but Fiona and I obviously were not their type. This session was a blast but I really need to get back with Seth and see if he is still itching or reacting to the bites. So not a good thing for a honeymoon..........but the photos will last a lifetime. The bug bites won't, hopefully!

After the wedding reception at the Rossitter House we took a stroll around the neighborhood in Eau Gallie. This is an incredible neighborhood with a great sense of community. One neighbor saw us at the end of the street and invited us into his yard, complete with a magnificent river view and span of the Eau Gallie Causeway. It was a tropical paradise with white sand, coconut trees, a boat, and even a tire swing. Nicest gesture ever to up the specialness quota for my couple. This gentlemen invited us to come back at anytime, when he's home, and kindly informed us of all the security cameras on the property. Ok, no future trespassing for me for sure! Otherwise, the Melbourne PD will be taking my photo. Big shootout to this nice neighbor. 

Since Jenny & Brian's wedding was at 11 A.M., the reception ended around 5:30. Most of my weddings are in the evening. So I was thrilled that we still had daylight and were able to utilize that "golden hour" light at the end of the day. What a great idea to plan a daytime wedding. Loved the photos that we were able to get because I had travelled light with only a small lens on my camera for walking.

We didn't do the traditional "getting ready" photos as everyone met up at the Church early, which gave up lots of time to do some family and bridal party photos before the wedding. Really made the day start out smooth and not so hectic. First time photographing at The Way Church in Eau Gallie. I can see why Jenny & Brian love it......a small, intimate community (that is quickly growing!). Very warm, very friendly and totally child and family centered. Love it!  Then it was on to the historic Rossetter House for the reception under the tent, complete with games on the lawn for the kids. It's almost like having a wedding in your back yard if your lawn is perfectly green, well manicured, lush with foliage and your home is perfectly restored. I'm out on all of those!

It was very hard to narrow down a few photos to show how their day unfolded but that's a good thing, right? Oh, and I totally learned some pretty cool things about Brian. Totally impressed with his sense of adventure, per the groomsmen's speech. From traipsing around Peru to sliding down super tall hills that may have required neck braces for at least one of the guys, seems like Jenny is going to have some fun times! 

Jenny & Brian, I have loved getting to know you and wish you the best in all of your future excursions! I hope your photos will be a reminder throughout the years of just how beautiful you were on your wedding day.
