It's "baby & mommy" marketing week here at Beverly Bennett Photography & I've been meeting some great new vendors. In particular, a great store to visit if you live in the area is Once Upon A Child in Melbourne. It's not a consignment shop & they buy items outright from customers to sell to you. They only sell gently used & "favorite brands", i.e. the good stuff!  If you're not local, there's good news for you as well. There are store locations throughout the U.S. & Canada, so check here for a store near you.

Once Upon A Child agreed to display my cards in the store for expectant mommies & their little ones, so look for my information to pass on to your friends when you're in the store. Shameless plug!

She was once just a little girl and to her Mom, she still is I'm sure. But these photos are beginning to tell a different story. She is growing into a teenage beauty. Coral made my blog post a short time ago, posing with my cute little dogs. Even though is wasn't that long ago, she certainly looked younger. Cute as they come, but younger. Oh, a Mom's angst. Letting them grow up & asserting independence, to boot. Coral is my model when I'm looking for certain poses, etc. It is so much fun photographing her.

 

 

 

This looks like fun but, for me, it would seriously be dangerous. Great jump, Coral!

And this one, my brain can't even wrap around the getting started process. So, this is how models stay in shape. Coral,  you are as athletic are you are beautiful.

This location is so beautiful & the view seems to change with every visit. The driftwood is amazing and the landscape is looking lush & green, thanks to our recent rain & warmer weather. After taking beach photos, we thought we'd change it up a bit & see what kind of photos we'd be rewarded with at the Indian River Lagoon. We had to hike a short distance, but it was well worth it.

For some reason, looking at this picture reminded me of that chant that children sometimes do: "My Mom's prettier than your Mom". Not politically correct, but you know and I know, that kids know how to "keep it real". So, if this little one decides to try out that phrase, no worries, because it will be a true statement. THIS Mom is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing that beautiful little one soon!

O.k., so this photoshoot was supposed to be all about Leah's pregnancy & the anticipation involved in awaiting their newborn's arrival, which it was...mostly. Because, they also have Riley! And Riley is the most loving, adorable dog around. So much love is shared between Riley and her (human) parents. This baby is going to have to be super-duper cute to upstage Riley's cuteness............which I'm betting will be the case!

More of your beautiful photos soon, Leah. Just had to give Miss Riley a shoutout first. Seems I've had a lot of beautiful Rileys in my life lately, as can be seen on the previous post.

The last time I saw Miss Riley she was only a few months old! It was lots of fun to see her today. It's amazing how she's grown & more amazing that I managed to keep up with her. Go Riley!

They were just sitting there. Sitting across from each other in the cool evening breeze, lazily gazing at each other.............errr...........in our neighbor's backyard.  Out in the open, like they owned the place. Well, maybe that's the point. They belong here as much as we do. Couples come in varying forms!

One day many years from now,  I hope this picture will give her a big smile when she sees how cute she was at this age.

I am in love. Not just any kind of love. The kind of love that makes one obsessed. I want to experience this kind of love forever. I have fallen head over heels with a beautiful place. (O.k., so it doesn't always have to be a person does it?) .....In fact, I'm thinking this place is more romantic than Walden's Pond is or was at one time.  The colors are brilliant, the sounds are peaceful and every step beckons you to go further. If you are looking for a beautiful place for your next photography session, whether it be glamour shots, celebrating a pregnancy, a wedding, your little one's milestones or for a special family photo, Rock City Gardens in Sebastian, Florida is magical. Recently I did a photo session there, and I was blown away by the beautiful spring colors. So, as I said, I am in love! AND you can be too! Check it out. Just don't wait as long as I did. I never knew!

Of course, with so much inspirational beauty around us, and being avid readers, it seemed completely appropriate to take a reading break beside the beautiful pond.

Don't you wish your aunt looked like this when you were little?! Both of these girls are fabulous, with great fashion style. A big shoutout to Aunt Nicole (pictured here) as she lovingly & painstakingly hand crafted the rose backdrop. Oh yes, and an extra shoutout to Uncle Matt for helping with the backdrop that they kindly donated to me after the photo session. Big YAY for that guys. You'll see it again around the blog. I love it. 

Miss Riley 1st appeared on my blog back in January 2009. She was such a cutie, all calm & peaceful. We'll be updating her photos in a few weeks, so look for her post/pictures soon to see how much she's grown. Can't wait to see you again, Riley.
