This has been a windy, unseasonably cool and damp winter in Florida. Comparatively speaking, I know we look like we are in paradise! However, when doing photos on the beach in these conditions, we just have to accept hair is going to be flying in faces but to these kids? Not a problem. They don't have a care in the world! Just fun time. In fact, they were so excited, we had to forgo too many formal portraits of them and just catch them on the fly. Will make better memories years from now, at least, that's my viewpoint.

And some of the expressions were priceless! And yes, this is a family of 5 children with an addition on the way. Dad came from a family of 12 children, but I don't think (according to Mom!!) that is the goal here. I found it amazing that she home schools all of them. She is an incredible Mom........Dad is a physicist so I'm pretty sure all these kids are excelling in math and science!

Twins and I could tell them apart only when they smiled! One is a little further along in the tooth department.

This is the youngest and a "catch me if you can" kind of kid!

It was so windy this guy couldn't keep his tail feathers down, and honestly, I could relate.
