Stacy & Ron are getting married here in Florida in March 2015 so we met up for a few engagement photos. They are from Cobourg Canada (which looks like an awesome town/so historical).  I am so glad we opted to do their session shortly after they arrived when it was still 90 degrees........Then the cold front came thru & the low temps in part of Florida weren't that far away from the lows in Canada. I kinda felt like I had egg on my face because I was asserting my bragging rights about our balmy weather shortly before they arrived. At any rate, they still got to wear shorts and the tropical look made it in the pictures, which is pretty much all that counts. 

I specifically wanted to incorporate a picture with this bamboo at the gardens because I thought surely bamboo is rare in Canada. So afterwards I googled it to make sure they don't grow bamboo in Canada. Well. Of course they do, according to Canada's Bamboo World!

Stacy, you are going to be a beautiful bride. Can't wait to photograph you guys!

A little black & white drama!

I love black & white photos but it is so hard for me to give up vibrant colors!

Ron & Stacy, it was wonderful to finally meet you. I felt an instant friendship with you both & know we will make a great team capturing your wedding day photos. If you're looking for an old Florida styled venue, complete with cows, horses & rodeo themed weddings, this venue is perfect. Chad & Amber were married here recently and it was gorgeous, albeit very windy and a tad bit cold (for Florida!).

The light was super gorgeous with little dust particles in the air reflecting so softly…….making for pretty pictures!
