Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, the would-be assasin who took aim at President
Gerald Ford 34 years ago and the chief disciple of serial killer Charles
Manson, was released from a federal prison in Texas this morning, said a
prison spokeswoman. Fromme, 60, had previously completed her sentence for
the assassination attempt in July 2008, but was ordered to serve additional
time for a 1987 prison escape. "Lynette Fromme was released about 8 a.m.
today," prison spokeswoman Maria Douglas said.

Van Houten was directly involved with the LaBianca murders. None of these
women should be out. I know 40 years is a long time and I don't care how
well behaved Van Houten has been in prison. They have their lives and some
of them have gotten married, received law degrees in prison and
(predictably) become born-again Christians. One of the Manson murderers
sells erotic art and published music from behind bars! I suggest anyone who
even THINKS these people deserve a second chance should Google "Sharon Tate
crime scene" and "LaBianca crime scene." The photos are horrific but it's
important to remember how depraved and hideous those crimes were!

I live about 15 minutes from the facility. This is scary. I she's not
Mason, but still! I hope they put her on a buss to nowhere!

She was a classmate of mine at El Camino College in California (
Torrance/Artesia area) and I remember an incident where for NO reason she
grabbed an umbrella from me so viciously she was hauled away by school
security and banned from the theatre arts area. A monster then and I can
only assume she is a monster today. I would be fearful of ever being in her
company. She is a vengeful quiet, moody friendless little monster.

Perhaps the parole board has inside information that there's a price on
Squeaky's head. That Nazi cross on her forehead... just might be a
bulls-eye.

can not imagine her changing in the least bit. Attempting to kill a
president is a pretty serious crime, I mean seriously. I woulds guessed
that would have gotten her life but I guess not. Also, she attempted to
escape just b/c manson had cancer...I bet she is on her way to him right
now. Scary thought...but probably true...lets hope they keep her away---who
knows what they might plot to do next. I think someone needs to keep track
of her and make sure she doesnt go astray!

We should let Charlie out too. He can start a radio talk show and make
millions. He can buy one of the mansions that his disciples committed the
crime in.

Ok- here's a question: Which will happen first- will she get her own
reality tv show or will she go back into prison after melting down and
mauling someone?
