I attempted to rescue a medium size chocolate lab in traffic today.  Gender unknown.  Unfortunately, I could not catch the dog before it was hit by a car at the I85 Northbound Ramp to Shallowford Road near the Ramsgate Condos and Publix.  I removed the collar from the dog and it is a dark collar embroidered with Peace symbols in rainbow colors.  There is not a tag with contact inforomation attached.  If this is your dog, my condolences.  I am an emotional mess over this situation.  I moved the body to the side of the road.  Ideally I wanted to take the body to be scanned for a chip but I have a back injury and cannot lift well.  If this is your dog, please email me and I can mail you the collar.  Please retrieve the body if possible and give this dog a decent final resting place.
