KSV ELECTION NOTICE
NOTICE TO THE KHE SANH
VETERANS (KSV) MEMBERSHIP
There will be an election
for the following Khe Sanh Board OfDirectors
positions. Only voting members of the association who honorably
served in
the Armed Forces of the United States of America may hold any
position on
the Board of Directors of the Association.
This
election will take
place during the KSV Reunion general membership meeting at
the 2025 Annual
Reunion, Holiday Inn Resort- Pensacola Beach, Pensacola,
Florida, October
18th, 2025.
You
may run for one (1) of the following
positions:
President,
Treasurer,
Four (4) Member-at-Large positions
The
exception is that you may run for both President and Treasurer
provided you
meet the criteria below for the office of President.
TO
BE ELIGIBLE FOR THESE POSITIONS.
(1)FOR PRESIDENT: A person seeking the
office of President and
Vice President is required to have served a
minimum of four (4) years on the
Board of Directors of the Khe Sanh
Veterans, Inc. (From the By-Laws stated in
Section V.)
(2) A person must be a member in good standing. (Dues must be current at
time
of submission.)
(3) A person must have attended a
minimum of two reunions within the previous
five years.
(4) A person must send a WRITTEN
notification to the
Election Committee Chair, David J. Meyer ( [email protected]), or the
Secretary,
Ron Shouse ( [email protected]), of
intent to run and for which office,
30 days prior to the general membership
meeting. If you do not have email,
mailing addresses are available in the
membership directory.
ALL
written notices of the intention to run and for which office must be
received
by the Chair or the Secretary, prior to 5 PM Central Daylight
Time on September
18th, 2025. Any written notices received after that time
WILL NOT be eligible
for placement on the ballot.
