Old economy car needed

In our area of service in south Ensenada, in a community called El Zorillo, Pastor Benjamin of the Nazarine church has reached out to me. His car has died and is too expensive to repair. He asked me if we could locate a donated economy vehicle with good fuel milage to him and his church. Honda’s and Toyota’s, seem to hold up the best down there and parts more available. If any of our mission partners have an older economical car for donation to Pastor Benjamin, we could facilitate the gift, and use our non profit status to offer a tax receipt to the donor. Please contact my office by phone if you have a car to donate or a person who we may contact who could help. 626-792-3390 This would be a great blessing to this church and family. As of 2022 we were able to donate two vehicles to Pastor Benjamin’s church and family in El Zorillo. An Acura 4 door sedan and our older 1999-2000 Old Blue van that has 15 seats for his youth group and missions. Praise God for the provision of these needed vehicles. We have learned the 1990 Dodge van has been used just to take a youth group to Tecate area for a camp. THe pastor is thrilled how this van has helped his ministry.

2021 calendar not set as yet

With Covid still raging in So Cal and in many other areas, it is too soon to plan an outreach than could easily be delayed or cancelled last minute. We will have a board meeting soon to discuss our opportunities to serve in Baja soon. If you have interest in serving this year please reach us by email at [email protected]

September food bag outreach 2020

A small team of 4 including MarĂa Carvajal, Orsolina Garcia, Claudia Badano, and Michael Budincich travelled by aircraft to Ensenada airport Sept 10-13 to purchase, bag, and distribute 500 individual family food bags during the Covid 19 restrictions. We were luck we passed Ensenada customs and immigration with no issues. All food was sourced at Mayorista, a big box store there similar to Wall Mart for food. We loaded Two Suburbans and a 15 passenger van operated and owned by our ministry full of food to the distribution site. "El Zorillo " in Canyon Buena Vista community church and Pastor Benjamin and his family and parishioners helped bag and distribute the food. We passed out coupons Friday PM for the Sat bag distribution with masks and safety. 500 families were blessed that day at a time when jobs and work was slow with Covid. Thanks to all those that gave to this outreach, our only one of 2020 besides out Cabo San Lucas Chiropractic and eyeglasses outreach in conjunction with Christian Chiropractic Association dodctos and spouses.

Temporary travel restrictions BAJA

Due to the Covid 19 virus epidemic the travel for all mission activities has been temporary  suspended by Manos Con Alas Ministries. We are working currently to build out a permanent dental clinic at the First Church of the Nazarine in Maneadero, BAJA a suburb of Ensenada. We have developed a new friend in LA who is a philanthropist and has connections in Maneadero and in Tijuana. IRS DEMO his LA company has agreed to store and help import our dental, medical, eye, and chiropractic equipment by his personal company SEMI trucks to Baja as his gift. Carlos Herrera will be a great asset to our work in BAJA in the future. First let’s all stay healthy and return our countries to normal.
