Family Update:

This family feels like "family to me" in a good way! We all get along famously! I have been photographing this family's milestones since the birth of the oldest. He's  in the photo above celebrating all the joys of the ocean. These kids are active with a capital A. They fill me with feelings of being a kid again. They are "awesome", to use an overused photographer word, but it really did seem appropriate for these guys. Because they are so active, we decided to do a beach photo session and just let it unfold with no real structure and "get what we get" in terms of photos. Mom wanted real vs Pinterest imagined photos! Definitely makes for a more pleasant and less stressful experience for kids AND Mom. 

We met up just as the sun was rising and it was a fireball of a sun hitting the water. like glass..........and we captured the light just as Mom had hoped: More instagrammy than portrait style. Love!

Jordan, AKA "Mom" is a classic beauty with sort of a bohemian vibe. She's totally cool and these kids know she makes their world go round.

This one is in a constant "let me run with my brothers" state of mind.

And this one is my personal favorite. It was taken juggling the youngest on my hip and the camera with my right! Because Mom & Dad's need some "just us' time too!
