Lindsey & Justin =Engaged: Florida Weddings Vero Beach Wedding

Michele + Ron = Married Click here to view ONLY this message

I 've posted a few of the following photos previously on my Facebook page. You can always get an advance look of my recent photo shoots by liking my page over there. Blog posts take a little longer to prepare, so the full post always comes later than the Facebook sneak peeks............ So, here we go. This wedding is one of my smallest, most intimate and beautiful in every way weddings I photographed.  The guests included the bride's son, the couple's parents, and Chaplin Secret & his wife, Pat. That's it! And it was perfect! I have to say, this wedding ranks up there with one that will forever have have a place in my heart. Michele is from Connecticut, relocating to South Florida with her now husband, Ron. They had searched for a beautiful, intimate Chapel & location for their ceremony. And, of course, they fell in love with Community Chapel of Melbourne Beach. Who wouldn't? (So thankful Melbourne Beach is my home and community. You know, I hope I live here for my entire life and leave a little bit of a legacy/history for my family......) The Community Chapel was built in 1892 and it is amazing that is continues to be here with our crazy hurricanes! It has an interesting history, so the link above can tell you all about life in 1892! Not-so-easy!

Ron is a retired military officer and (twice) Iraq war veteran. What I noticed, throughout the ceremony + photos, is how he cares for his Michele! They are perfect together. I  can see it.

Just had to do one of these photos out front.......It was hot, it was sunny, it was midday, but we were determined.

Our photo assistant, aka, Michele's son.

Showing a little love for his Mama............

    fun......passionate......fierce.......these two

Just a classic beauty. I love how timeless this photo is......

Future brides, notice the finished edging on the veil. A must for blowing in the wind effect. This gives the veil some weight. Otherwise, unfinished tulle will just blow into the shape of a long ponytail. Not good!

Don't stress if you can't do your outdoor formals at the perfect time of day. Again, this was midday so we just scouted out some shady places. Completely do-able.

So, once we had captured every shot we wanted, it was time to have some fun!

And that we did, because, these two? Fun just comes natural! Michele & Ron, wishing you a beautiful life together.......forever.

Lindsey & Justin =Engaged: Florida Weddings Click here to view ONLY this message

For those of you that already know Lindsey & Justin, friends & family, well, you already know they are about the most fun couple ever to be around! And for those, like me, new to Lindsey & Justin, I can only say I've enjoyed every minute of getting to know them......I'm sharing a few of their engagement photos so you can be in on the fun too! When Lindsey called me, she said she was looking for a fabulous photographer to capture their Florida wedding and I raised my hand ver-ry high because I knew right away she knew what she was looking for regarding her wedding photos..........and she was willing to put the time in that is required to make it happen. She is fabulous that way.....and in every other way too. You'll see. Both Lindsey & Justin love the beach life and have booked all suites the most gorgeous little Florida get away. Wait till you see the light this place creates at the end of the day. A photographer's dream.  I love how easy going, take things as they unfold these two are..........just easy-breezy.

Perfect location for a beach wedding. The Seashell Suites is a Boutique Hotel that seems to make time stop when you enter the gates. It feels like home, with none of the work!!

Love the colors they chose. Funny story, they actually left their outfits at home (in GA!) they were planning to wear. Oh, well, just one more reason to go shopping........

I am positive Justin chose his shirt color to match the aquas and blues at the location. And, that's what I am going to believe. Before he went golfing that day, I'm sure he thought out the engagement photo color scheme, right Lindsey?

    Yes, just plain gorgeous!

Love how these two just love life, and each other.

I also live in Melbourne Beach and I can tell you the water is a prettier color at this location. For real.....and I don't know why...but that's ok....some things just are!

Whatever problems might have been going on in our corner of the world on this day, light was not one of them! Just glorious....

    Amen!

Justin + Lindsey, you are amazing together. Can't wait for the wedding date. Oh, and you might want to call me before heading out from Ga just so I can remind you not to forget the dress!!!! Luv you guys.........

Jake & Pamela: Married Click here to view ONLY this message
For those of you reading this blog that know Jake & Pamela, you already know the beauty of their love story. While their personal journey has also involved previous loss, pain and grieving, now there is the incredible beauty and happiness that is apparent with each other and the blending of their children into one enormously happy family! So happy for you, Pamela & Jake.

So let's get on with looking at a few wedding photos of these gorgeous people. Thank you for the honor of capturing these images for you and your family to enjoy forever. Your wedding day was heartfelt and joyous.

Jake, love how the kids are keeping an eye on each other! They did that throughout the ceremony.

Let me help you out there, little brother.........

These kids are super fun to hang out with.......and could not be any cuter!

For those of you on Facebook, you know a few of these photos have been posted. If you haven't, please like my page for current updates.

Loved the time we spent on photos at the beach! Well worth the heat and exhaustion!

Pretty exciting to get married in downtown Melbourne Beach on the 4th of July. Really odd, though, all week the street/town had been decorated with flags lining the street but by late evening they were gone. Hey, city council, what's up with that? Anyway, we managed to find one for a photo, but by then, we were ready to head inside for some cool air and FOOD!

Jake & Pam had reserved the entire upstairs at Djon's Chophouse for dinner. Beautiful place but crowed that night and it just seemed inappropriate to mill about taking random photos so I'm going to leave you with this photo of the fire pit on the patio. It is really gorgeous to sit and watch the fire and the colors. And as I was leaving just had to capture a flag memory for the end of your wedding day-evening.

Wishing you and your family the happiest life ever!

Ashley & Jared} Wedding Click here to view ONLY this message

Seems like this blog post is a bit overdue even though Ashely & Jared were married only a few weeks ago at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine. Loved everything about this venue. For starters, the staff is the best I've ever encountered. They were so busy throughout the day setting up and preparing for the event, but anytime I made a request or asked for anything, they were more than willing to help. Pretty unique! And a big shout out to Dan, who helped me with the hanging of the dress in the tree for the photo! Everything about this wedding was beautiful. We  had rain off and on during the day, right up to the pre-wedding photos. We kept pushing along, and the rain cleared out well in advance of the ceremony, leaving us with pleasant temperatures and a soft, pretty sky. Couldn't ask for more. I already posted quite a  few of their photos on Facebook, so you can check those out as well. May be some there that I haven't included here.

Long before Jared grew up to be a Coach & teacher, he probably heard the words "play ball" before "eat your breakfast". Total sports family!

Loved all the colors at this wedding, which included some super cool dressed guests!

Just before the ceremony.........but no looking just yet!

I am in love with the ring!

The guys on the golf course found this idea very interesting!

Something about this photo I just love. It's always the bride admiring her ring. So happy to see a groom admiring his as well!

What a beautiful wedding for two beautiful people. I know you will find happiness with each other forever. I love you both.......well, just like I was your Auntie or something...........

Family Vacations + Photography Click here to view ONLY this message

I love meeting up with new families while they are on vacation here in Florida. I especially love the excitement from the kids when it's one of their first beach experiences. And, when parents recognize the value of taking a little of the vacation time to capture special portraits, that make me really happy for them. These kids are adorable, and of course, found a way to make  our session fun. Because. That' what kids do.......have fun!

That last expression. I knew I'd see that somewhere in the session!

Oooops! Learning to master the boogie board can lead to a few scrapes!

And I knew we'd end up with a picture like this somewhere along the way.Thank goodness it was at the end of the session!

It goes without saying, these guys have been enjoying their vacation at the beach!
