Ending out December 2015 with Gwen & Bill's small & intimate wedding. Before saying their vows at The Community Chapel of Melbourne Beach we met up for a " first look" and to capture a few photos during the daylight hours. (When planning a winter wedding sunset happens much earlier so if you plan around that,  you'll be much happier with the outcome of your photos!)

And just as the sun set, we captured a photo of the bridal party, which included Bill's brother and Gwen's son.

There's nothing more exciting than that first Christmas.............especially for the parents! This little girl is so adorable and I've been photographing her beginning at age 3 months. It's always fun to see what theme or color scheme her Mom has created for each session. She is so  creative and I love how she recognizes how important that is to setting the tone of the photos. To top that off, she values the art of photography! Heart be still! 

It's always a dilemma for me when trying to narrow down which photos to share. Miss A is totally a ham with the camera and for this series, I had  a number of adorable expressions from smiles to serious looks. In the end, I kept coming back to this one. I think she truly looks like a little eskimo here, so I love it......decision made!

I believe we'd all agree Mom & Dad are equally gorgeous! They adore their daughter and are wonderful parents. Spending time photographing them is always uplifting.........

I love beach weddings but it was fun to have a change of scenery. Since I grew up near this town, it was also nostalgic. I love how the town has changed yet still is the same in so many ways........just better. The downtown area, with all it's red brick buildings and so much character still remains the same but with a subtle amount of revitalization. It's also the location of Valdosta State University, which is a beautiful campus. While I didn't go to college there, I did tour the campus once with friends on a high school outing.  We missed the bus home & had to call for a pick up by one of the parents. Not our finest hour! (According to our parents anyway!)*

*Addendum: Obviously this event was more traumatic to me than I had envisioned! After reading this my sister called to inform me she was in fact the one that picked us up and returned us home to face our parents!! Now back to the beautiful Lacee's wedding portraits!
