Before you book that portrait session, a little research goes a long way. I know you have discovered by now there are approximately 1 zillion photographers out there & about half of them reside in Brevard County Florida! Today we are both blessed & cursed that everyone wants to be your "professional photographer". Short of showing up for your portrait session with only an iPhone in tow, how do you know if a photographer can deliver the image quality you deserve?  Short answer, decide in advance the image quality you are looking for & how you expect  your images to look. Then look thru the images of the photographers you are considering, and ask yourself: "Does this style fit me? Do these have a professional quality or just nice snapshots?"Will I love this style of photos now & 10 years from now when I look back on them?" 

So, what's my goal when I take your portrait? It really narrows down to 4 things……….& location is not one of them! 

See the photo above. You can tell this teen is full of life, full of excitement & ready to take on the world. 

How do you want to remember this day & time in your life? Hopefully, that is what your photos will convey.

Your photos should look natural & relaxed. 

This is way more important than location. Do you ever look at photos and while they look nice, there's something "dull" about them? What's missing? Usually it's the spark in the eyes.
