Senior photo sessions are always fun. I get to hear the most awesome hopes, dreams & plans for the future. Leaving the nest and heading off to college. Fun, scary and exciting all wrapped into one package. This beautiful graduate also has the most supportive and caring parents.......they flew her all the way from Missouri to fulfill her dream of a beach photo shoot for her senior portraits. How great a memory will that be?!!

For a non Florida girl, she made great wardrobe choices! Of course, being this tiny & beautiful, anything she chose to wear would have fit her perfectly!

A few of the surfer guys were a bit stunned walking by and were left speechless. One commented on my "nice" camera and even her Dad got a laugh out of that........Well, I do have a great camera........

Lately I've been photographing lots of brothers. This little guy is expecting a brother in just a few short weeks. How cute is he in his brand new reading glasses? Colin is totally adorable and loves the camera. He is the first 5 year old boy that just couldn't get enough of my photographing him and then of course, he had to preview it! He's definitely a fun kid and this brother on the way is going to have the happiest childhood & family life ever! Happy to say my connection to this family began when Stephanie was pregnant with Colin and we got some awesome pregnancy photos on the beach with her wedding veil blowing in the wind. She is so photogenic and we captured some special moments when Colin was born as well.  Looking forward to seeing the addition to the family soon!

Then we were off to a field to capture some outdoor photos. This field is next to a Church where I photographed a wedding a few years back. Lots of good memories here............

Just waiting for the sun to get lower in the sky can create some pretty light photos as well......

One super sweet child, I tell you! Life is good!

 

This beautiful October day wedding came with sunshine, rain showers, more sunshine and then rain again. It was a constantly changing forecast & conditions were minute to minute. Once we got to the beach, we had to run for shelter. Minutes later we were down on the beach with sunshine. Then the clouds rolled in and we wrapped it up but not without getting every shot we wanted! 

A little rain can add to the adventure of your day. The weather doesn't have to be perfect.............

However, your shoes have to be! And these were gorgeous!
